Santa's Woods!

Today we went to Santa's Woods in North Rustico. It was the first time we have been there and the kids had so much fun. There was motorized trains that Connor was on . There was a huge enclosure that you crawled through and then came down a slide into a room of big bouncy balls , we play here for a long time.

There was also some animals there . There were ducks , roosters , budgees , goats , and then the kitten room that you could go in and pat and play with the kittens. Let me tell you these kittens were so tame, they would let the kids pick them up and carry them around . some of the kids were not very good at holding them and they would just hang there in their hands . Olivia wanted to take them home . She absolutly loved them. There was also a rabbit pen that you could go in and pat the rabbits . Too cute .

Santa also makes a visit. Olivia was very excited to see him , he told her that she grew since he saw her at Christmas and that she had the same sweet smile on in her sleep on Christmas Eve. He told her to be a good girl and he would be seeing her pretty soon again . Connor was a little shy of Santa , so Santa came to him and told him that he was a good boy and gave him a candy cane . He is the owner and I think he must be at least 80 years old . He enjoys it though and does a good job.

Olivia and Connor got to drive the motorized bikes and cars. Connor drove the police bike by himself , but Olivia gave him a drive in the punch buggy yellow , as she called it. It was so cute to see them driving around the track in the car . They were both on the trampoline as well , and Olivia did the zip line . Connor wouldn't hold onto it he kept letting go right before he went off the end. It is a great play place , we bought the two day ticket so we will be going again next week. They have bbq's that you can use and picnic area, lots of little tikes slides and play houses , also a big sand box with trucks and cars which was anouther of Connor's favorites. Olivia and I played mini golf as well , half of which was in the black lights glow in the dark . We had a great day and now the parade is tomorrow.
